Oud Beersel

Oud Beersel is one of the last remaining traditional lambic breweries in Belgium, founded in 1882 just outside of Brussels. With deep roots in the Pajottenland region, they remain fiercely committed to spontaneous fermentation and the use of wooden foeders. Their lambics, gueuze, and kriek are aged slowly and naturally, resulting in beers with layered acidity, subtle funk, and unmistakable character. While preserving history, Oud Beersel is also looking ahead — innovating with fruit blends and barrel aging, and working to make lambic accessible to new generations of drinkers. It’s a bridge between the past and the future of wild beer.
